Photography is my spare time interest

-And it has been with me as a good friend since I got my first camera in 1977. I have made a little money from this hobby, but not nearly enough to cover the costs.

A list of activities (selection);

1977-80 Photography classes
1981 First published photograph in a book published by the Viking Ship Museum, Roskilde, Denmark [Keld Hansen: 'Tjiman - En barkkano fra Canada', page 13]. A full page color photograph of two Canadian Algonquin Indians building a bark canoe.
1982-83 Photographer for the Monterey High School Yearbook and Newspaper, Lubbock Texas USA.
1983 Several prizes in The West Texas State University Photo Contest.
1983 Did 2 advertising photographs of some questionable natural medicine for Arno Wolle, Denmark.
1984-1994 My interest shifted toward Television and Radio, and although I did take photographs, I didn't really try to show it in public.
1985 Visited fashion photographer Gunnar Larsen in Paris, and did a radio interview. Read the transcript here (in Danish).
1994-1999 During this period I worked at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Roskilde. One of my responsibilities was documenting exhibitions and activities. Most of the newsletters during this period contains my photographs.

2003 A photographic object was included in the "Threes and Trinities" exhibition at Artpool, Budapest.
2005 A photographic object/viewing box included in the "The Experimenter & the Art of Perception" exhibition at Artpool, Budapest.

I have a soft spot for rangefinder photography - especially the Leica M, but I must admit that these days I primarily capture photographs digitally. A growing selection of recent images can be viewed on my photo blog Forloren Images.
